Özcan İbrahim Durak is a technology entrepreneur and co-founder of three companies operating at the intersection of geospatial intelligence, electric mobility, and AI-powered infrastructure solutions. After spending 17 years abroad and completing his academic studies in Graphic Design and Web in the UK, as well as Computer Programming in India, Özcan returned to lead innovation in mapping and smart mobility sectors. In 2018, he co-founded Visiosoft A.Ş, a company built on the vision of accelerating and modernizing map data using artificial intelligence. Visiosoft has partnered with municipalities, GIS firms, and energy companies to provide advanced spatial data services. The company also successfully exported EV-related software and financial solutions to a Swedish firm over a three-year span. In 2022, he launched Mapilio LTD, a UK-based platform for crowd-sourced street-level imagery. Within six months, Mapilio gathered over 9.2 million geotagged images across 82 countries. The platform combines community-contributed visuals with open-source mapping to build accurate, real-time, and 3D-enhanced maps, supported by automated data extraction technologies. The imagery is freely available, while enriched data is offered via a commercial tier. Mapilio is actively integrated into the OpenStreetMap ecosystem and engages with stakeholders via strategic partnerships, events, and developer outreach. In 2023, Özcan co-founded Toger, a brand operating under Mionti A.Ş, focusing on EV charging infrastructure. Toger currently manages over 250 charging stations and operates more than 45 parking facilities across Turkey. The company offers end-to-end solutions including software platforms, payment integrations, and site operations, and is emerging as a major player in Turkey's e-mobility ecosystem. With a strong commitment to scalable, sustainable, and AI-augmented technologies, Özcan continues to lead multidisciplinary teams across Europe and the Middle East, shaping the future of mobility and digital infrastructure.
