Arif Aşıroğlu holds a bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and is currently pursuing his master's in the same department. During his undergraduate studies, he developed a strong interest in data science and artificial intelligence, and worked on spatial data-driven projects focused on sustainable cities. His graduate research focuses on the intersection of geographic data and sustainability. Throughout his studies, he worked part-time as a data analyst at a start-up and later completed a long-term data engineering internship at Enerjisa Energy. Following graduation, he joined the Geographical Information Systems Department of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, where he currently works in the 3D City Modeling Division. His work involves managing 3D city data based on the CityGML standard, developing scene-based 3D web visualizations, and deriving spatial outputs such as unit-level building information. He is also interested in generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and AI integration, and is currently developing innovative projects that bring together geospatial data and artificial intelligence.
